Dr. Amy Lee

Dr. Amy Lee hates to see people suffering! In particular, she hates to see patients suffering from dental pains and infection that will cause the loss of teeth.

Experience has shown, that an original functioning tooth is still the better option-ever over an implant.

She has prepared throughout her life to meet the challenge of not only getting people out of dental pain and infection, but also the preservation of the teeth, the creation intended one to have.

Scoring in the top 99.8 percentile of her dental Admission Test, she was accepted by the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. Previously having completed her Ph.D. in the field of medical research at Albert Einstein School of Medicine (New York), she was well prepared for her dental studies.

Graduating with honors from dental school in 2002, she was immediately accepted into the endodontic (root canal therapy) residency program at the University of Connecticut, School of Dental Medicine. She chose the three year residency program instead of the more frequently chosen two year program. So that she would be trained and experienced not just the usual level of complexity of root canal diagnosis/therapy, but also for the extremely difficult complex cases that are encountered in the real world.

Recognized for her insight, ability, and accomplishments, the prestigious dental journal, Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology and Endodtology, published research work done by Dr. Lee. She was also recognized for her accomplishments by the American Association of Endodontology, an honor only granted to ten endodontic residents nationally each year.

2005 brought forth completion of her root canal residency program, awarding her not only her certificate of endodontics but the Degree of Master of Dental Science.

Knowledgeable in the field of root canal diagnosis/therapy, she is well versed in the intricate root canal surgery utilizing cutting edge equipment and the latest technique.

Ready well prepared by her education, experience and dedicated desire to her patients, she chose to come to middle Georgia to open her endodontic practice.

In over eleven plus years, she has been an integral part of this community, having treated successfully thousands of patients, saving countless teeth, and relieving the pain and suffering of many.

Appreciated and loved by many, patients and referring dentist alike, she is known for her "can do" and "going the extra mile". For those in need, availability and competence is seen daily in her practice.

The year 2012 brought her the "Quality Award" for dental service awarded by the Warner Robins Air force Base and the dental community.

Equally, she appreciates and values the trust given her by her many satisfied patients and the many dentists who entrust and refer others to her compassionated care.

She is an active member of many dental associations, and is currently serving as editor of the regional dental association (The Central District Dental Society) newsletter.

Married, she and her engineer husband Tom, have three children, of whom, they are very proud of.

Spare time activities include cooking, landscaping, interior design and travel.

Dr. Lee loves people and would treasure the opportunity to know and serve you. Truly, many have come to know her as the sincerely caring person she is.
